• Halo is in beta. Bugs, interface changes and data loss between versions may occur.
• Halo is local-first: accounts, transactions, settings and profile information are primarily stored on the device.
• Keys and secrets are stored in the device secure store, such as Android Keystore or iOS Keychain, rather than as plain text.
• Connecting a third-party service is your choice. When Open Finance, an AI provider or an identity provider is connected, information required for that action may be sent to that provider and its terms apply to that part.
• Hali can be wrong. Her answers are not financial, tax or legal advice.
• Financially meaningful or destructive actions may require explicit approval before they run.
• During beta there is no commitment to availability, accuracy or long-term data retention.
• Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may delete locally stored information. Export important information first.
• Do not use Halo for unlawful purposes or to access an account that is not yours.
• Continuing to use Halo means you accept these terms. They may be updated with app versions.
