Delete from the app

When Halo account services are active, you can request account deletion from the account settings inside the app. After confirmation, account information stored by the authentication system will be deleted according to the server-side deletion implementation.

Local data

Halo is local-first. Information stored only on the device is not necessarily part of the cloud account. Local data can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Before deletion

Export any information you want to keep before deleting your account or uninstalling the app. Deleted information may not be recoverable.

Beta status

Halo is currently in beta. Public account creation should not be launched until server-side account deletion is active. This page describes the deletion mechanism required before public release.
